The Nest E183 error indicates an overcurrent issue on the Y1 wire, which is typically responsible for powering the cooling system. This often means that there’s a problem with the wiring or the electrical system itself.

Check the Wiring:
- Let us know of recent changes: If you’ve recently made any modifications to your HVAC system or wiring, those changes might be causing the problem.
- Ensureing correct connection: Verify that the Y1 wire is connected to the correct terminal on both the thermostat and the HVAC system.
- Look for damage: Inspecting the wire for any signs of wear, fraying, or cuts. If found, we will replace the damaged section.
